Episode 022 – Adopt a Family & Adopt a Classroom US Virgin Islands

Adopt a Family USVI was born out of need.  The need of thousands of people in the US Virgin Islands hit by not one, but two major hurricanes.  Sabrina Jureidini had friends and loved ones in the path of destruction, and her worry and concern turned to action.

This conversation with Sabrina Jureidini and Chrystie Payne tells the tale of how Adopt a Family evolved also into Adopt a Classroom.  The need is still there, but more important to remember is that hurricane season is right here again.

About the author, Michael

I am an executive leader, sales trainer, and author, with over 25 years of experience delivering motivational speeches and training sessions to audiences worldwide. I have a unique range of experience, from my beginnings as a Catholic school teacher to managing hundreds of people and hundreds of millions of dollars as Vice President of US Sales for two global medical device companies.

In 2016, I published my first book, Tell Me More, to share my leadership mantra. Through a strategy of active listening and observational questioning, we become better leaders, better sales people, and we can deliver on phenomenal customer experiences. Through this podcast, we’ll see how the Tell Me More process is at work in the business world today.

Thank you so much for bringing awareness to our cause!! Chrystie & Sabrina are the brains…..I’m the “box jockey”! Moving big heavy boxes of supplies is my 3rd job, behind being a Dad and actual work (that pays!).

Thank you Sabrina’s Hubby! You have all created such an act of love and giving! It was a pleasure to interview them both, and a joy to be a part of this movement. Keep up the good work!

BTW…….it was about 2400 lbs (not 1500) of donated school supplies. I just got the bill of lading yesterday.

70 heavy boxes. I rented a truck and drove it all to Norfolk on Friday!

The pics & vids are on our Facebook page!!

We are still needing about $2000 more, we have $500 already!

      Maricar –

It has been such a joy to get to know you and your students, and to be able to help in some small way. And now I have a reason to get to St. Croix some day soon!
