Episode 029 – Life Changing Skincare – A Talk with Nancie Hsing, Independent Consultant with Rodan & Fields

Nancie Hsing reached out to me to offer me a free sample of Rodan & Fields face care products. I was pretty impressed with her moxie, and who doesn’t like free stuff? That turned into some interesting conversations about skin care, business and the desire to provide life-changing skincare.

Nancie is an independent consultant with Rodan & Fields, and I suppose I am now too, if for nothing more than having a skin-care regime that I love and actually follow! The other fun is how funny I look for 2 minutes twice a day when I follow through with the cleanser/mask. 

Since I am one of those people striving to combat not only aging but the wear and tear of travel that shows all to readily on my face, I take my skin-care pretty seriously. Plagued by breakouts in my teens and 20’s I was a raving fan of Proactiv, and if you are familiar with that product, you will enjoy the direct tie from those creators to this line which extends far beyond blemishes.

Nancie has an infectious personality and her love of the products and company shines through. She even let me coach her on how to talk less and listen more, which left us with quite a few laughs through this episode.

You don’t have to be interested in the product or company, or even the business model, in order to appreciate her commitment to her customers. They are the reason she does what she does, and there are lessons here for us all.
